Volume V of Rev. Dr. Koontz's Family Bible Commentary Now Available to Pre-Order
The Epistles and Revelation close out the New Testament portion of the Family Bible Commentary Project, with three more books to come dealing with the Old Testament.
Ad Crucem Books is pleased to confirm the publication of the second book in the sequence of Rev. Dr. Adam Koontz’s Family Bible Commentary. Volume V covers the general epistles, the Pauline epistles, and Revelation. The book is now available for pre-order, and shipping will commence in December. The Kindle version will be available from next February.
The first published book in the series, Volume IV, covers the Gospels and Acts. Volume V completes the New Testament, and we look ahead to three more volumes dealing with the Old Testament. Those remaining volumes will be published annually through 2028 when the project concludes.
Volume V reflects Pastor Koontz’s almost filial understanding of St. Paul, but his handling of the general epistles and Revelation is also a tour de force. His treatment of the Revelation to St. John is a masterpiece of clarity and simplicity, especially in our American context dominated by harebrained Dispensational notions. Here is a sample covering Rev. 10-13
As with the first book, the second book includes a glossary, introduction, and extensive Index. Some style changes have been effected for Volume V to make reading aloud easier.
For a limited period until November 12, 2024, Ad Crucem offers special pre-order pricing for customers buying Volumes IV and V as a bundle: $35 for softcover and $75 for hardcover. The books will be shipped in December and should arrive for Christmas.
Customers who participated in the original funding project and included Volume V in their order will also receive the book in December. Again, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to the project by purchasing the complete set upfront. Without your assistance and support, this venture would never have been possible.
Individual Kindle Chapters From Volume IV
We are also pleased to release the individual chapters from Volume IV for Kindle. Softcover versions will be available from 2025.
