Supporting the LCMS Wyoming District Convention in 2025
Vectorizing the WY District logo and providing an attendee badging solution for its upcoming Convention.
The LCMS Wyoming District will host its District Convention this year, which will convene from May 1 to 3 in Casper, Wyoming.
The Wyoming District’s logo was in poor shape. Hand-drawn many years ago, it was unsuitable for print and digital use after being scanned and rescanned many times. Ad Crucem offered to “vectorize” the District logo, making it infinitely scalable at the required resolution for all print and digital use.
Last year, Ad Crucem provided an event attendee badging solution for Luther Classical College’s 2024 Christian Culture Conference. The badges work with any standard printer (laser jet recommended).
Unfortunately, most church conference badges are sad and pathetic. They are usually too small to read without being awkward and signal a “we are cheap and unprofessional” tone.
Ad Crucem’s design is easy to customize, print, and read (double-sided) and very easy to stage for pickup and to count attendees. It also provides a method to generate physical receipts or tabs for special-use items like a drink ticket. With double-clip lanyards, an agenda can be printed on the back of each badge, and the attendee information always faces the front.

Consequently, the Wyoming District asked for a similar badging solution for its upcoming convention. The district will order in bulk to take advantage of low unit costs, and the same badges can be customized for future events, making it a very cost-effective solution.
The picture below shows one side with variable data fields in magenta and the other with variable items mail-merged to sample data. Ad Crucem provides a Microsoft Word template for printing badges and can assist with developing the mail merge tools and process to produce the final on-site badges.
The size of the badges also reduces the number of reprints needed for the inevitable lost badges. Still, reprints are also simple to generate using a laptop computer, standard desktop printer (e.g., HP LaserJet Pro 4001dw for black and white), and blank badge stock.
If your LCMS district's logo is of poor quality and/or low resolution, Ad Crucem will vectorize it for free. Just send us your best version of the logo and have a district officer authorize us to proceed.
