Staking Small Entrepreneurs

Ad Crucem seeds individuals looking to get their businesses off the ground.

Each year, we encounter Christians with amazing skills, good entrepreneurial instincts, and viable product ideas. However, personal circumstances make it hard for them to accumulate enough capital to turn their talents and dreams into sellable items that will build a loyal following. Ad Crucem tries to fill that capital gap and supplements it by providing access to sell through our channels.

It is incredible and humbling how much difference just $500 of capital can make to a fledgling business, allowing the entrepreneur to buy supplies and tools and build inventory. In some cases, we have paid for essential equipment, which is all the person needs to be more productive and competitive.

Ad Crucem doesn’t announce the beneficiaries or attach strings to deals with contracts demanding repayment or an equity stake, nor does it treat the stake like an interest-bearing loan.

We aim to help these special-case entrepreneurs improve their financial independence and pad their families' incomes. In return, we hope they will be goodwill ambassadors for Ad Crucem and eventually enable us to recover the initial outlay through commissions on their sales, but there is no guarantee.

Some arrangements have been remarkable, and it is thrilling to see an individual’s revenue grow from a few dozen dollars to several thousand dollars a year! Some arrangements have fizzled out and been disappointing, but the overall success rate of the staking is excellent.

If you encounter a similar situation with a talented person who needs encouragement and a small financial push to gain self-employment, we encourage you to do no-strings-attached staking.
