The church property suffered significant damage from Helene, and the congregation is no longer able to worship in its facilities.
Without any update from LCMS Disaster Response about how it will specifically help our congregations affected by Hurricane Helene, here is a worthy cause to consider.
Trinity Lutheran Church in Tryon, NC, suffered significant damage from Helene, and the congregation is no longer able to worship in its facilities. Some expect the saints there to suffer a total loss. It is a confessional congregation shepherded by a faithful pastor, Rev. Tom Olson, in an area where Lutherans are sparse.
