Family Bible Commentary Now Available for Kindle
Rev. Dr. Koontz's lively companion to reading the Bible can be downloaded to Kindle devices in a reflowable interactive format.
Readers who prefer screens to paper may now acquire Volume IV of The Family Bible Commentary as a Kindle download. Rev. Koontz wrote 80,000 words covering the Acts of the Apostles through the Gospel According to John, so the Kindle version needed to be fully reflowable, allowing readers to personalize text size, line spacing, alignment, page color, and continuous scrolling.
The Kindle version follows the publication of the hard and soft cover editions late last year, with 99% of the funding project supporters receiving their orders in time for Christmas.
Kindle copies can be pre-ordered now and will be available to download starting February 2, 2024. Until that date, a promotional price of $15 per book is available; thereafter, it reverts to $22.
Ad Crucem has been humbled by the positive response to the Family Bible Commentary project announced last July. Although the pre-sales had to be halted earlier than expected to meet printing deadlines, the final sales were adequate to cover the startup costs and provide funding through Volume I (The Pentateuch), due for delivery at the end of 2025.
Individual chapters (e.g., the Gospel According to Luke) will also be available as Kindle versions from the end of February.
The next volume in the series is Volume V, which spans St. Paul the Apostle's Epistle to the Romans through the Revelation of Jesus Christ to St. John the Divine. The book is expected to ship in time for Christmas 2024.
Rev. Koontz will soon deliver his commentary on Revelation as the publishing team works on a progressive production schedule through October. Printing is scheduled for November, and shipping will commence in early December.
