Creating a Certificate of Ordination for the Rocky Mountain District

Replacing a very old and very ugly institutional certificate!

LCMS Rocky Mountain District President, Rev. James Maxwell, asked Ad Crucem to design a Certificate of Ordination to replace the modernist and bland version that has been in use for decades.

This is an example of the “standard” certificate, in this case, for Pastor Lincoln Winter, who now serves parishes in Wyoming.

The brief from DP Maxwell was to create a more attractive design with the ability to edit its information, retain high-resolution fidelity, and make it easy to print on a standard desktop printer using quality paper.

The old version was a blank personalized with a typewriter, which limited font and layout options.

Below is the final result, a fully editable PDF file that can be managed with Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF editing tools.
